Vince Neil (Vincent Neil Wharton born February 8, 1961) is known as the lead vocalist of metal band Mötley Crüe. Vince was born in Hollywood, California to Odie and Shirley Wharton. During the 1960s, his family moved around Southern California from Inglewood to Watts, finally settling in Glendora. As well as having an interest in music while a teenager, Vince Neil was also interested in surfing, basketball, baseball, football and wrestling among other sports. Vince Neil was discovered while performing with his band Rock Candy in 1980, and joined Mötley Crüe in 1981. Mötley Crüe was looking for a singer at the time and were impressed by Vince Neil after hearing him through Tommy Lee. In 1989, the band released their highest-selling album, Dr. Feelgood.

Aside from his work with Mötley Crüe, Vince Neil has worked tirelessly on his fundraising through The Skylar Neil Foundation...

"In 1995, I lost my daughter Skylar to cancer. Since then, I’ve committed myself to doing everything I can to raise awareness and much needed funding for children’s illnesses. To date, my Skylar Neil Foundation has donated nearly two million dollars to various children’s charities, funding important work and research. I am very proud of all we have been able to achieve over the last dozen years."

The original MOTLEY CRUE stipple portrait was donated raising over $10,000 at VINCE NEIL's OFF THE STRIP Poker Tournament at The Joint in Las Vegas.
