The Crüe is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1981, portrayed here in the signature stipple portrait styling of Todd Claydon. The original artwork was auctioned by frontman Vince Neil at The Skylar Neil Celebrity Classic with generous amounts of money donated to The Skylar Neil Foundation. The Skylar Neil Foundation was founded by singer and musician Vince Neil, in honor of his daughter Skylar, who passed away after a long battle with cancer in 1995 at the age of 4.

Motley Crue have 30 years of top hits underneath their belts including Shout at The Devil, Home Sweet Home, Kickstart My Heart, Don't Go Away Mad, Glitter, Girls Girls Girls, Primal Scream & Without You. Motley Crue CD's have also sold extremely well with Motley albums such as Too Fast For Love, Shout at The Devil, Theatre Of Pain, Dr Feelgood, New Tattoo & Saints Of Los Angeles having sold over 80 million copies.

  Artist Todd Claydon met with both Mötley Crüe & Aerosmith at the ACC in Toronto in 2006 where the original was signed backstage by all band members.
